Although the Apple TV was initially designed and marketed as a consumer product, it has since proven its value for businesses as well. Connecting seamlessly with both iOS and OS X devices, Apple's set top box gives enterprise users an easy way to share presentations in conference rooms without messy wires, adaptors or even a projector.
"I can just pop into a conference room and share the data from the palm of my hand," Dan Kerzer, senior vice president of mobile at MicroStrategy, told Macworld. "You don't have to do the normal VGA-cable shuffle [...] Why, in order to stream a video from your phone to your TV, would you want to hook up a cable when you can just push a button and stream it?"
