Senior Systems Engineer (Windows Administration)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Windows administration and enterprise endpoint management. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure with a focus on Active Directory, Group Policy, and modern device management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments
  • Design and manage Active Directory/Entra architecture
  • Create, deploy, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across the organization
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint configuration, compliance, and security
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
  • Collaborate with security and network teams to support enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Provide Tier 3 support and mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration or Engineering
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Active Directory (AD DS, DNS, DHCP)
  • Microsoft Entra
  • Group Policy design and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
  • Experience with Windows Server (2019/2022,2025)
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Solid understanding of identity management and security principles
  • Experience with Entra AD / Hybrid environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with:
  • Azure Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS)
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Conditional Access policies
  • Endpoint security tools (Defender for Endpoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Local)
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (VPN, firewalls, routing)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (SCCM/MECM)
  • Certifications such as:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator
  • MCSE or equivalent
