2013 sees $10 billion in App Store sales

According to a recent press release from Apple, in 2013, the App Store sales topped over $10 billion. That includes more than $1 billion being spent in December alone. "We'd like to thank our customers for making 2013 the best year ever for the App Store," Eddy Cue, Apple's senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said in the release. "The lineup of apps for the holiday season was astonishing and we look forward to seeing what developers create in 2014."
