More small businesses embracing the latest tech trends

Relying on the latest technology to run a business is something that nearly every company is considering, and they would be wise to do so. Systems like the cloud and mobile devices are allowing organizations to run more effectively, while also saving money and elevating them in the minds of their customers.

It is not just larger businesses that are embracing this role, as more smaller companies are looking into the act. With a lower cost of entry for some of the basic versions of the latest tech, it is easier for organizations to embrace these systems and try to make additional moves into the future.

Recently, SurePayroll surveyed a number of small businesses to see what they were looking for when it comes to technology solutions. The study found that 70 percent of organizations have altered the way they do business because of the latest technology.

According to SurePayroll Vice President of Marketing Scott Brandt, many small businesses are becoming more knowledgeable when it comes to the latest technology. Organizations are using it to scale operations and become more profitable while spending less money and resources.

"It's a combination of a lot of factors, including increased marketing and leaner staffs that have led to improved small business profitability. But certainly technology is helping with those things," Brandt said. "Small business owners really owe it to themselves and their customers to stay on top of the tools that are available — some are becoming a part of our everyday life already, but there are more coming constantly."

Adopting the latest tech is easier said then done. With the help of an IT consulting firm, any company will be able to manage these systems successfully.
