A Comprehensive Study of iLife ’08 (iLife 201)

Course Description

This three-day, hands-on course introduces students to the features and interface of iLife ’08. iLife ’08 is a suite of digital authoring tools that comes with every Mac: iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iDVD, and iWeb. With iLife’08, you will learn to create media-rich digital projects, and share them online with a few clicks. You will learn to easily create stunning websites, photo books, and DVDs. You will learn to organize your photos more intuitively, collect all your video clips in one library and make movies in seconds, and share your media with a few clicks in a Web Gallery.

Who should attend?
 
This class is designed for anyone who prefers hands-on and interactive instruction to best explore the functionality of all iLife ’08 applications. This course prepares students to pass the Apple Certified Associate, iLife ’08 exam.

Prerequisites

Students should have the following prerequisite knowledge prior to attending this course:

  • Basic knowledge of the Macintosh OS

Certification

This course covers the knowledge necessary to become an Apple Certified Associate, iLife ’08. Certification is granted upon successful completion of the exam.
