NEW APPLE SNOW LEOPARD CERTIFICATION COURSES NOW AVAILABLE AT MC SERVICES

PEWAUKEE, WI – March 8, 2010 - MC Services, Wisconsin’s only Apple Authorized Training Center (AATC) offering Apple IT courses, has added the new Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard certification courses to its Apple IT roster. These courses are designed to prepare IT professionals for all six Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard certification exams.

MC Services offers all Apple IT certification exams and provides a discount on exams when in conjunction with any class. MC Services’ monthly Snow Leopard 10.6 classes beginning March 16, 2010 include:

Snow 100: Intro to Macintosh for Technical Professionals 10.6 – A one-day preliminary course for new users of Mac OS X users in preparation for technical Mac OS X courses. This course covers Mac OS X basics, customizing preferences, using the Mac OS X help system, and managing applications.

Snow 101: Mac OS X Support Essentials 10.6 – A three-day, hands-on course that uses lectures and case study exercises to give in-depth understanding of troubleshooting on Mac OS X and teaches efficient use of tools and resources. Prepares for Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) 10.6 exam and Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) 10.6 exams.

Snow 201: Mac OS X Server Essentials 10.6 – A four-day course that teaches students how to implement and maintain a network that uses Mac OS X Server, along with how to provide network-based services such as file sharing, mail, web, and wikis. Prepares for Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC) 10.6 exams and Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA 10.6) exams.

Snow 301: Mac OS X Directory Services 10.6 – A four-day course that emphasizes cross platform solutions in configuring MAC OS X as a directory service client, and using Mac OS X Server as a directory server. Prepares for Apple Certified Specialist - Directory Services 10.6 exam and Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA 10.6) exams.

Snow 302: Mac OS X Deployment 10.6 – A three-day, hands-on course that teaches students how to create a full deployment plan that includes testing, hardware and software deployment, auditing, and maintenance, as well as how to create a tiered Software Update server solution. Prepares for Apple Certified Specialist - Deployment 10.6 exam and Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA 10.6) exams.

Snow 303: Mac OS X Security and Mobility 10.6 – A three-day course that combines lecture and hands-on exercises to teach strategies for providing secure access from mobile devices to services running on private networks using Mac OS X Server. Prepares for Apple Certified Specialist - Security and Mobility 10.6 exam and Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA 10.6) exams.
